32 detector modules for GADAST were delivered in Q1
25. 07. 2023
The detector modules for GADAST were delivered during the first months of 2023 by the Czech FAIR-CZ-OPII project team to the international FAIR laboratory in Darmstadt.
For the EXPERT (EXotic Particle Emission and Radioactivity by Tracking) experiment, which is part of the Super-FRS Experiments (S-FRS) collaboration within the NuSTAR scientific pillar, an in-kind contribution in the form of 32 GADAST detector modules was successfully developed, tested and installed in Darmstadt, Germany by colleagues from the University of Silesia in Opava. The modules were supplied by a branch of NUVIA a.s. from Kralupy nad Vltavou.
Installation of the GADAST modules was confirmed by the Certificate of Completion
GADAST is an in-kind contribution of the Czech Republic as an associate member of FAIR to the NuSTAR pillar.
